Join us on the OTC Minecraft server! IP: 75.176.78.207 Don't have Minecraft? Purchase it here. ($14) You secure the satin bag of holding to your belt, comforted in its array of survival tools and rations. They should afford a lengthy adventure marked by deleterious monsters and unending depths — both yielding limitless treasure. That's what the merchant vessel who ferried you to this remote series of islands confidently promised. Only days before meeting ruin in the shallows. To your east, the pitted moon crests a towering crag. Hisses, moans and otherworldly clamor burst into existence. You emit a faint tremble. This is going to be a long night. Minecraft is a game about mining. And crafting. But mostly surviving. Watch this nifty trailer!
Well, the survival element hasn't appeared in multi-player quite yet. The game is in its alpha stages, so we cannot really be astounded that it isn't complete. Let's hope the Halloween patch fixes multi-player survival. That doesn't mean you are without purpose. The worlds of Minecraft are vast creatures, lending to hours of exploration. It doesn't take long to get lost amongst the ridges, defiles, caves and underground tunnels.
If you aren't a sucker for exploration, you are free to spend the hours creating. Think of it as playing with Legos, but far neater. You gather all of the materials yourself, craft new materials with those that you have and go at it. Addicted architects have created some astounding feats. You'll find yourself lost in your projects. But you don't have to take my word for it.
Jambe has found madness: "How many diamond pickaxes have I gone through? HOW MANY? Too many."
Asmodeus found it so alluring he has started a charming journal.
Zhurdan thinks riding pigs is funny! "Hahahaa.. Pig pilots!!!"
Quincunx was so infuriated that he hated time itself: "Also, hit the motherload tonight. Iron, gold and the magic red stuff, I was loaded...then died. Proceeded to hate the time, kept playing anyway and am now focusing on the house again. What shame, all of that nice stuff gone."
This guy also has something to do with Minecraft.
By now, you're surely convinced that Minecraft is the place to be. All you have to do now is acquire the game, set up an account and hop in! You're free to journey the realm of the OTC server — The Wayward Lagoon. The only rule is that you don't destroy or deface what others have already created. Boats await in the community chest!
But wait! Vagrant! You're hosting this at home, Tenshi!
Don't worry your delicious little head. I keep my PC on 24/7. And progress is recorded server-side. That means if we ever need to migrate, it's as simple as sending a folder. It's free, too. So no worries over server costs.
See you soon!
